Born in Karachi on September 6th 1968, the Pakistan Captain Saeed Anwar has become one of the best batsmen in the world through hard work, dedication combined with his exceptional talent. He has a tremendous eye, excellent timing, and makes use of his wrists better that any other batsmen in the game. He can find the gaps at will, and more often that not, a little push from Saeed simply races away to the boundry. Strong on all sides of the wicket, Saeed's favorite shot is the cut shot, which he plays better than any other Pakistani batsmen.

Very strong on the off side, Saeed has the ability to play some glorious cover drives that are an absolute delight to watch. His off side shots are so good, that he is considered to be the best off side player, among left handed batsmen in the world.

The reason for his immaculate off side play is because of his sound technique. He is solid in defence, yet can destroy any bowling attack in the world in a matter of minutes. His strength in timing and the ability to play on the rise, combined with excellent execution, makes him the best opener to ever come from Pakistan...far ahead of the likes of Soahil,Raja,and the Mohammad brothers.

As a first class cricketer, Saeed used to bat in the middle order however once he made his ODI debut in Australia, he was thrust into the opener's role. He began opening the innings in domestic
cricket, and made his way back into the ODI side as a specialist opener. Despite, having lost out on precious years due to politics in the PCB, Saeed never lost hope. He made most of the limited
opportunity's that Imran Khan gave him, yet he was over looked for the likes of Shoaib Mohammad and Ramiz Raja...players who never performed outside of Pakistan.

In 1993, Saeed created a new world record..he hit three back to back ODI hundreds in Sharjah, a feat never before achieved by any Pakistani player. He was now finally a permanant member of the ODI side, under Wasim Akram. However, he was still not considered for a test spot..once again a huge error by the selectors.

In 1994 however, Saeed finally got a chance to show his worth as a test match plater. He hit a mammoth 169 in New Zealand and combined it with some important half centuries in the rest of the series. He had now proven his credentials as a solid test match player with the temperment and ability to succeed at the level.

Since 1994, Saeed has played another 40 odd test matches, scored over 3500 runs and averages 47.20. He is simply a brilliant player. He is also the Captain of the Pakistan team. He has the ability to
lead from the front and become an excellent Captain, as time will tell.

Saeed is an excellent team man and gets along extremely well with his team mates, who have nothing but praise for him..as well as fans
and press alike. Saeed is also a Computer Engineer, and his wife Lubna, is a doctor who takes care of him when he gets his regular dose of flu.

Kamran was born in Lahore on 13 January 1982. His full name is Kamran Akmal. Kamran Akmal is Pakistani wicket keeper and batsman. Kamran played cricket by right hand. Kamran akmal is Pakistani cricketer, he has played test's ,T20s and ODIs as a wicket keeper. Akmal started his career in November 2002 with a international Test match which Pakistan won at Harare Sports Club. He has made 2648 runs in 53 Test matches with the help of six centuries, while in 137 ODIs. Akmal has scored 2924 runs with the help of five centuries. In T20Is, he has scored 704 runs. As a wicket-keeper, he has dismissed 206, 169 and 52 batsmen in Tests ODIs and T20Is respectively . Akmal has achieved 6 centuries in Test inning. his first century was vital – his 109 from the number eight position at Mohali coming . Naturally, he is a batsman that plays lower down the order but has sometimes opened in both Test and One-day cricket. As an opener he has scored two back to back centuries in ODIs against England. He saved Pakistan from a score of 39/6, scoring a century, and helped Pakistan win the match and the series. Kamran won the T20 World Cup in 2009.
Kamran Akmal was played in the season of the IPL. He played five matches in the tournament, as wicket-keeper and batsman, In the final of the tournament against the Chennai Super Kings. He took two catches in the first innings, however he was run out for six runs. Though this has not been confirmed by the board, it is believed that the reason they were not picked was that the suspicion had not been cleared. The ICC confirmed that Akmal had been barred from entering the team. Pakistani captain Salman Butt announced it was too early in the series as only one match had been played to decide the fate of Kamran Akmal. After another horrendous series behind the stumps against Sri Lanka in January 2009 journalist.Kamran Akmal was appointed the vice-captain on (17 july 2010) of the Pakistani test squad.

In a triumphant 2007-08 for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Umar failed to score in his first outing but then went on to amass 855 runs from nine matches in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, at an average of 77.72 and an impressive strike-rate of 90.18. As explosive starts to one’s International careers go, few can rival Umar Akmal. He announced his entry with scores of 66 and 102* within his first 3 ODI innings (at Sri Lanka, 2009) in addition to a 129 and 75 on Test debut (at New Zealand, 2009). Those performances weren’t a surprise. At first class level, Akmal was renowned for his big scores amassed in quick time. 7 years prior to his debut, Umar’s elder brother Kamran had already gotten his taste of international cricket. By 2010, the siblings featured regularly, in tandem for Pakistan.

Umar Akmal carried on from where he left off at Lord's by scoring a century on the opening day of Pakistan's first-class three-day tour match against Kent on Monday.

Akmal made 153 out of a total of 360 all out just a day after top-scoring with 51 in Pakistan's tour-opening six-run Twenty20 win over MCC at Lord's.

His innings against Kent was much needed by the tourists as Pakistan slumped to 53 for three with hard-hitting captain Shahid Afridi out for a duck.

Kent's seamers made the ball nip around and the Pakistan top three were dismissed inside the first hour, all lbw, with Umar Amin, Fawad Alam and Salman Butt falling cheaply.

And before lunch Kent triallist Mark Lawson had Shoaib Malik caught at backward point.

All-rounder Alex Blake struck twice after the interval, having Kamran Akmal caught in the gully before Afridi sliced to deep backward point.

Akmal held firm and went to his fifty with a six off Lawson but largely kept himself in check on his way to completing a 150-ball hundred.

However, once he reached the landmark, he opened up and hit four more sixes, three off Lawson before he was stumped off the spinner by Paul Dixey.

Lawson finished with four for 93 on his Kent debut and, in the day's remaining over, the hosts reached two without loss.

Pakistan will play Australia in two Twenty20 internationals on July 5 and 6 at Edgbaston before playing two Tests against the same opponents at Lord's and Headingley.

After playing Australia, Pakistan will feature in four Tests, two Twenty20 and five one-day games against England. The tour ends on September 22.

Ahmed Shehzad is a Pakistani cricketer. He plays domestic cricket for Habib Bank Limited. He made his One Day International debut for Pakistan on 24 April 2009 against Australia.

Domestic Career
In limited-overs domestic cricket Ahmed Shehzad plays for Lahore Lions and in June 2011 during the Faysal Bank T-20 Super Eights Shehzad top scored the innings by scoring 74 of 47 balls imposing a mammoth total of 218 against the opposition Sialkot Stallions who in turn were bowled out for 173 Shehzad took two-catches and a wicket as well he was rewarded man-of the match for his superb performances.

International career
Shehzad made his debut for Pakistan in a one-day international against Australia on 29 April 2009. In his maiden match he scored one boundary before he was run-out. The following match he scored 40 in an innings that included 4 fours. The third match he scored 43 but this time just scored 2 fours and in the final match of the series he scored 19 with 1 boundary to his name before he was given out leg-before.

These consistent performances meant that Shehzad made his Twenty20 debut against Australia scoring a single boundary before being caught in the deep. Despite a failure in the Twenty20 Shehzad was selected for the Pakistan squad in the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 he only played one-game which was the opening game against England being caught by Paul Collingwood Pakistan changed their combination removing Shehzad and his partner Salman Butt and replaced them with Shahzaib Hasan and Kamran Akmal.

The big break vs New Zealand (2010-11)
After spending most of the sidelines on the fringes of national selection Shehzad played in the three-match Twenty20 series against New Zealand scoring 14 runs of just 7 balls in an innings that included 2 fours and 1 six. Shehzad showcase his ability to time the ball and to score runs at a quick pace therefore in the following match he started to feel comfortable on New Zealand wickets scoring a watchful 15 of 14 balls in an innings that included 1 four, this time he showcase his ability to remain calm in a situation where the middle order was collapsing around him. After batting at number 3 for these two matches Shehzad replaced Shahid Afridi as opener and scored his maiden Twenty20 half-century scoring 54 of just 34 balls in an innings that included 10 fours. After performing well in the three Twenty20's the Pakistan selectors selected Shehzad for the six-match ODI seri es against New Zealand with a potential place as a World Cup opener also available. After scoring 115 an ODI against New Zealand during the series, Shehzad was given a place in the Pakistan world cup squad.

Imran Khan was born on 25th November 1952 in Lahore, Pakistan. He grew up in Zaman Park (Lahore) where cricket was a great part of his family life.

Education and Career

Imran received his early education at the prestigious Aitchison College, Lahore. Imran Khan proved to be a fine cricketer and made his first-class test debut for Lahore at the age of sixteen. Imran was selected for the Pakistan cricket team in 1970, where he soon made a permanent place for himself. He finished his high school education at the Royal Grammar School in Worcester, England, where he excelled in cricket. He went on to study Economics and Politics at Keble College, Oxford, in 1972, and was captain of Oxford's cricket team in 1974. During the Seventies, Imran became a world-class 'all-rounder' and was rewarded with the captaincy of the Pakistani cricket team in 1981. He was declared international cricketer of the year in 1989-90.
Lead the Pakistan team to lift World Cup in 1992

Imran Khan led the Pakistani team under his captaincy to victory over every other cricketing country in the world. He molded them into a great team through his skills and understanding and taught them what team spirit was and made the players give their best instead of just playing for themselves. Imran Khan led Pakistan to numerous victories all over the world, and during his capaincy Pakistan won the world cup in 1992.
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital

Imran vowed to build a Cancer Hospital after watching his mother die from the disease, which made him think about how poor people coped during such difficult times. Since retiring from Cricket in 1993 Imran has been devoting his time in the setting up and running the Cancer Hospital. To raise money he organized door-to-door collections, charity launches and a Ramadan appeal. Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital opened in Lahore in 1996 and the press and television covered this happiest moment in Imran�s life. Today SKMT is one of the leading institutions for free cancer treatment in the world and has received international recognition. Currently,Imran Khan is building another cancer hospital in Karachi, using his successful Lahore institution as a model. Imran is also amongst a number of actors, artists, singers and sports figures who donate their talents to advocate for children on behalf of UNICEF as Special Representatives. He has used his international profile in cricket to support health and immunisation programmes in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
Chancellor of Bradford University, England and Namal College

In December 2005 Imran was appointed as Chancellor of the University of Bradford in UK, acting as an ambassador for the University in the UK and overseas. The Chancellor awards degrees but also is important as a role model and in helping raise aspirations and awareness of educational opportunities. Imran Khan is the fifth Chancellor of the University of Bradford. On 27 April 2008, Khan's brainchild, a technical college in the Mianwali District called Namal College, was inaugurated. Namal College was built by the Mianwali Development Trust (MDT), as chaired by Khan, and was made an associate college of the University of Bradford in December 2005. As a philanthropist and a Member of Parliament in the district, Imran has, under the umbrella of the Mianwali Development Trust (MDT), undertaken a number of initiatives to address the multiple economic and social challenges faced by the area. Political Career

Imran Khan was deeply shocked and realized that the only way to change things in Pakistan is through an independent judiciary. To fight corruption and bring the rule of law he formed his own political party, Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) or Movement for Justice. The slogan of PTI is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem. He represented Mianwali as a member of the National Assembly from November 2002 to October 2007.
Imran khan has been a true social worker and real patriot. He has shown to the nation the love and respect he has for them. His ideology of independent justice and complete freedom of speech will lead this country towards prosperity.
